The digital strategy project involved developing a comprehensive plan for STAV to get their online presence working better for them. They had many of the elements in place but they weren’t working together in harmony. The goal was to create a roadmap that would leverage various digital channels and tactics to achieve the client's business objectives.

Project Scope

The scope of the project included:

  1. Business Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of STAV's digital presence, target audience, industry landscape, and competitive positioning.

  2. Goal Definition: Collaborating with the client to define specific and measurable goals that the digital strategy aimed to achieve. These goals could include increasing brand awareness, driving website traffic, generating leads, or improving customer retention.

  3. Audience Research: Conduct in-depth research to understand the target audience's preferences, behaviours, and digital usage patterns.

  4. Channel Selection: Identifying the most suitable digital channels for reaching the target audience effectively. This included search engine marketing (SEM), social media, email marketing, content marketing, and link management.

  5. Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy that is aligned with the client's goals and target audience. This involved defining content themes, formats, and distribution plans to engage and educate the audience.

  6. Website Optimisation: Conduct a thorough audit of STAV's website to identify optimisation strategies to improve its user experience, search engine visibility, and conversion rates.

  7. Campaign Planning: Creating a detailed plan for digital campaigns, including timelines and messaging strategies.

The digital strategy emphasised the creation of targeted and engaging content that resonated with the audience. By developing compelling messaging and leveraging various content formats, including articles, videos, and infographics, we captured the attention of the target audience and nurtured relationships.

The digital strategy project provided STAV with a comprehensive roadmap to achieve its business goals and establish a strong online presence. There were a lot of opportunities in the socials space, as well as with the STAV mailing list to better connect with their audience. With a newly design set of content pillars and 12 months worth of content theme, STAV where able to get their new Social Media manager to implement an improved user experience across all of their channels. The digital strategy continues to guide their digital initiatives and ensures they remain connected to their community in this evolving digital world.
